How to keep Students motivated for JEE and NEET under the COVID situation?

Examination for JEE and NEET are round the corner and amidst COVID the situation becomes quite precarious. Students, in general, are getting demotivated and keenness to take the exam head-on is largely missing. It’s high time for Parents and Teachers to ponder over the requisite strategy and aligned to the correct path. Let’s first try to identify the issues what students are facing now: Uncertainty over the dates of examination due to COVID is making their chin down Lockdown has largely led to Mental fatigue  Failure in keeping the same tempo of study on account of consistent change of dates of Examination   What to do? 1.    Ongoing COVID situation is unpredictable and difficult to say that Examination will be conducted in September. How to score maximum marks in mathematics in JEE Main?

If you are a JEE aspirant and want to score good marks in Maths for JEE Main, follow the below tips: Thoroughly study all the chapters of XI and XII.    Make a Formula Book. {Practice at least 10 formulae referring some topics daily}      Prepare a book for Shortcut  Formulae       Make a chart of values of trigonometric ratios for different angles [0 ° to 360 ° a nd also, for the angles 18 ° ,36 ° and 72 ° .    Draw the Graphs of different curve  e.g. Trigonometric function, conic sections and step functions Divide the syllabus into the following sections: a. Algebra   b . 2-D Geometry c . Vector, 3D Geo., Line and plane d.  Trigonometry e. Calculus f. Breaking the Break

On 5 th May the HRD announced that the JEE and NEET exams have been postponed till the month of July and August, due to COVID-19. This got me thinking as to what impact it will have on my students. Come to think about it, it is a glass half full; half-empty kind of a situation. Looking at it from the glass half empty situation, it can be frustrating that the students have to continue studying for another 2 months. It can build frustration as they were so close to complete their academics.COVID19 has thrown the world out of its wits. Students might get a little laid back as they don’t have to appear for the exam in the near future. Losing the focus can cost them in the longer run. Looking at it from glass half full situation, one can utilize the extra time for one's benefit and make the most out of it. Students who were lagging can buckle up and make it to the finish line. You get more time to revise, get more time to solve questions, get more time to be prepared.
