Breaking the Break
On 5 th May the HRD announced that the JEE and NEET exams have been postponed till the month of July and August, due to COVID-19. This got me thinking as to what impact it will have on my students. Come to think about it, it is a glass half full; half-empty kind of a situation. Looking at it from the glass half empty situation, it can be frustrating that the students have to continue studying for another 2 months. It can build frustration as they were so close to complete their academics.COVID19 has thrown the world out of its wits. Students might get a little laid back as they don’t have to appear for the exam in the near future. Losing the focus can cost them in the longer run. Looking at it from glass half full situation, one can utilize the extra time for one's benefit and make the most out of it. Students who were lagging can buckle up and make it to the finish line. You get more time to revise, get more time to solve questions, get more time to be prepared.
